Remarks
-Participants must bring their own computer. The instructor will choose more stable, free or lowest-cost tools for teaching demonstrations based on the latest technologies (such as the latest open-source models or AI agent platforms). Some free services have usage limits; if these are exceeded, participants may need to pay for a subscription themselves.

Billy Hau
Former NASA engineer with a strong background in aerospace engineering; holds a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University (USA) and a master's degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. During his time at NASA Glenn Research Center, he took part in several cutting-edge R&D projects, including the Lunar Gateway space station, deep-space mining robots and hybrid-electric aircraft, and received the NASA Silver Achievement Medal and the AIAA best paper award for space energy systems. He also holds a patent for a deployment mechanism for small-satellite solar arrays.
Billy is also passionate about promoting STEAM education, has led the NASA Young Innovators outreach programme, has years of experience teaching from primary to secondary school level, and received the "Outstanding Teacher Award" from HKU SPACE (School of Professional and Continuing Education, The University of Hong Kong) in 2025, recognising his teaching strength. From an engineer's hands-on perspective, he guides students through project-based learning to explore mechatronics integration, artificial intelligence, aerospace technology and engineering design, giving classes both professional depth and innovative inspiration.
