Design Thinking and Community Mapping Workshop – 香港青年協會領袖學院 The HKFYG Leadership Institute

Design Thinking and Community Mapping Workshop

Overview

When planning community projects, if the understanding of the target group is insufficient, proposals easily become detached from reality. A systematic framework can precisely focus on needs and improve the feasibility of a plan. This workshop is designed for student teams planning campus activities or service learning who want to make their proposals more "grounded".

The course combines Design Thinking and Community Mapping, guiding participants to gain insight into needs with empathy and to systematically organise resources and stakeholder networks. Participants will master the process from defining a problem to building a prototype, improve discussion efficiency and problem-solving ability, and then create proposals with a sense of social connection, laying a foundation of professional planning literacy for future service practice. 。
