Applying AI to Multimedia Teaching Workshop – 香港青年協會領袖學院 The HKFYG Leadership Institute

Applying AI to Multimedia Teaching Workshop

Overview

When preparing lessons, teachers often face challenges such as insufficient teaching material resources, time-consuming production and limited student engagement. This course is designed for primary and secondary school teachers and curriculum designers who wish to improve the appeal of teaching materials and their preparation efficiency.

The course helps teachers master AI content generation technology, using AI tools to produce teaching illustrations, concept animations and short videos, and to quickly generate essay topics, science explanations and cross-disciplinary tasks. It also combines generated-image and story-creation activities to spark students' interest in discussion and creation, improving teaching effectiveness and learning motivation.

Course Content

Understanding and Applying AI Image Generation Tools
-Introduction to the basic concepts of AI image generation tools; learning to produce visual materials such as teaching illustrations, teaching material covers and portraits of historical figures

Exploring and Practising with AI Video Tools
-Introduction to the functions of AI video tools; mastering techniques for quickly producing short videos of lesson highlights, student activity recaps and concept animations

AI Text Creation Tools for Teaching Material Design
-Practical methods of using AI text creation tools to help write teaching material presentations, lesson plan content and cross-disciplinary tasks

Improving Multimedia Production Efficiency and Classroom Appeal
-Through the integrated use of AI tools, reducing teachers' multimedia production workload and improving the visual effect of teaching materials and students' learning motivation

Developing Generative AI Application Ability and Creative Thinking
