SDGs Global Citizenship Programme – 香港青年協會領袖學院 The HKFYG Leadership Institute

SDGs Global Citizenship Programme

Overview

Faced with a flood of information, it is hard for people to connect macro issues such as climate change with their lives. A systematic framework can help participants break away from fragmented information and build deep analytical ability. This workshop is designed for people who care about global issues and wish to grasp the SDGs concept and improve their logical analysis ability, using "world citizen" as the framework and simulating resource allocation and decision-making through board-game scenarios.

Through group collaboration and guided reflection, participants will practise organising the relationship among "the world – Hong Kong – the individual", turning concern into rational discussion and action. Participants will build awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals, master viewpoint expression and communication skills, and develop a global perspective and a sense of civic responsibility, extending macro issues to school and community practice.
